In 2008, Mac and Jacquie will be setting off on their refurbished Narrow Boat - SKYY- on a projected two-year tour of the canal-ways of the British Isles.

Mac has several years experience with narrow boats but Jacquie has only been afloat on the canals a handful of times. But following a brief trip on the Shropshire Union and Llangollen canals she readily jumped at Mac's suggestion to throw it all in, buy a boat and head off for a couple of years.

Brave stuff! This web site aims to record their journey and as time progresses we hope the site will be populated with copious photographs, anecdotes and tales of derring do!
